heres what happpened, over revved, problems, turned out to be bent valves, the post is here https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1260163 . anyway, i'm pulling the head and taking it to a machine shop to check/fix valve seats, and obviously i need some new valves, so my question is, are jdm b18c valves interchangable with b16 valves, because theres a honda dealer close where i can order some new b16 valves, but no acura dealer close, or possabley somewhere else i can buy valves, i don't want to spend the money on performance valves, i just want to replace the bent ones, and i don't know where to get them other than a dealer

 

I'm not sure if the valves are the same.

The only thing making me belive they aren't is that the b16 head may be setup differently to work on the 1.6L motor. It might be that the valves will be a bit smaller then the GSR b18c1 valves.

Search here on honda-tech and you can probobly pickup a set of valves for cheap for the b16
