Default Need Help -1997 Honda Accord will not start!

Okay, Honda Tech Members!
I have a memorial day bummer! I am stuck at a friends house and my accord will not start. On the Dash Cluster it is showing it is in drive, but the shifter is in Park, and I am getting no start.. Any Help on this? Thanks

Yes, I have tried every gear on the tranny to see if it would start, but like I said, " the cluster just stays in D4." and the engine gets no crank.

Double checked that already bro! Someone told me it might be some trouble shooting with the codes, but I am not sure hoping Honda-tech members might have run into the same problem before........ But Thanks Keep them coming...

i wonder if somehow shifter cable got damaged and it is stuck in drive, have you run over anything on road???,,,try raising car and shift tranny from underneath you have to remove cover to get to linkage ,,, see if it start that way

The car actually shifts manually if you put the key into unlock the shifter, and you can put it into other gears, but when the shifter is sitting in park on the cluster it still says D4... Keep bringing the help.. Thanks... I have actually put it into neutral to roll the car out of the street, so I know the car is still shifting...

So if u move ur shifter through the gates each gate will light up? Or if u move through the gates it stays in D4?
