Default 98 Honda accord-Will not start, Help!!

I have 1998 Honda Accord just "click" when turning ignition key. Replaced battery, cleaned terminals-still "click". Lights, locks, windows, radio all work, please help

sounds like you might have starter issues...get a big screwdriver.
have a friend try to start car when it click hit starter with it if it turns over there is your problem if not make sure you are getting power to the starter main + solenoid wires

Thanks for tip! Question-how to determine if starter/soleniod getting power?Another posting mentioned a relay any thoughts on that.

if its clicking, the relay should be fine, are you 5spd or auto?

if you have a manual tranny try pushstarting it ,,,have you tried to hit starter?? anything happen???

It may be your starter, alternator, or lastly "timing belt" is broken. Check them 3 stuff. I have a similar issue with my 87 LXi (Fuel Injection), but mine was able to crank it up, however, it won't start up. So, in the end, I found out that it was my ECU all along. I replaced my ECU and now back in bussiness.

It has an automatic tranny so pushing is not an option hopefully neither is towing. The ECU is that an option? Can that cause a no start? I have tried whacking the starter no luck.

your alternator might be broken, try checking to see if it's siezed or not puting out enough amprege

take off the starter take it to autozone and test for free . im not to sure but about this but try putting the car in neutral and start it {without pushing it}
