this week me and a couple of freinds are going to do the swap listed above, ive sourced the donor but dont have the wiring loom, will i need to get a wiring loom being my car is an OBDII and the donor is an OBDI?
ive been told that i need an OBDI ecu, but as my car has an immobiliser, from what i understand i would have to get the ecu re-mapped, but as my ecu has the vtec computer in it, is this neccesary, and would i be able to use my existing loom and my ecu, and just run the extra wires for the vtec into my ecu.
your help would be gratefully appreciated

 

u will need some of the plugs off the swap motors harness. Also u will need a jumper harness if u are going to use an obd1 ecu
