Default Climate control conversion...

I was searching around for different methods of repairing the CRX climate control, and came upon a few pics of guys with accord climate control units in their dash. Has anyone else converted their crack-o-matic stock CRX piece with another Honda/Acura piece? like maybe a DA unit? Or the Accord unit?

Buy the replacment plate from crxtoad, they are real cheap.

i've seen people put in hatch ones, its easy because you just have to run a cable or two, but they don't look as nice. haven't heard of accord ones, though.

Yes they are inexpensive, I don't care for the look of the final product for my own car. Band aid's are not appealing to me.
