it has nothing to do with the 4 speed. the reason why regular cars only break free with one tire usually is because one tire breaks free easier, and if one of them does, all the torque goes to spinning that one. however, on the rare occasion that both of the tires take the same force to break free, both will break free.
i hope nobody comes in and says something stupid like "the right wheel is your power wheel" or something. the only reason that one spins more is because of how the roads are.
are you trying to move sideways while doing this, such as reverse doughnuts or something? cause that will make both wheels break free.
or, maybe the PO put an lsd in your 4 speed, but don't count on it.
