on the back side of the caliper where the brake line bolts to, i removed the line in preperation for new SS lines, well i put the bolt back in to prevent from spilling fluid everywhere. well my dumbass ended up tighing it all the way down!! now i can get it out! the bolt will rotate both ways with a wrench and im kinda hoping a didn't strip it and if i did.. is there any way i can save the threads on the caliper side? thank you for you help.. oh and its circles in red!
IF you can get it out you can retap and it might be alright.
How youd get it out is a good question. I cant remember if it sticks out into the area behind the piston or not...pull it out and check

the problem is i cant get the bolt out at all.. its like its stuck in there. ive tryed pulling on the bolt with vise grips and i cant get it free. if i could get it out then i could pre detemine the stripped situation.
Like I said
Remove the piston and see if the bolt is within that chamber.
You may be able to press on the bottom of the bolt while turning it (thats if there is any sort of thread)

the threads on the caliper are probably still good, being that the steal in the bolt is softer then the caliper. You probably striped all the threads and crushed the ones on the inside over preventing you from pulling it out.
Your best bet is probably to drill the SOB out then re tap if necessary. Remember to use a smaller bit then the threads and start out small and work your way up slowly that way if you don't start out dead center you have some mercy room before you damage the threads with the drill bit.
Once you have it drilled out and have a shell of a bolt left take a chisel and clean out the rest of the bolt. Clean out the shavings and see what you have.
Or just get a new one......

My guess: You tightened the bolt all the way past the threads. This is the part that is in the brake line banjo fitting. I suppose that you are not able to back the bolt out by pulling and turning.
Forget a junk yard, jus tturn that thing in as a core at Autozone for a freshly rebuilt one.

Did you attempt to pry it out while loosening it?
This will require some help.
Take a screwdriver and wedge it under the lip of the bolt and try to pry it out. At the same time try losening it with a wrench.
If there is any threads left hopefully they will catch and it will start to back out.

dude i did the same thing, and i F*ucked the thing up the same way but i did it with the line on and did the same thing, calipers are cheep, there not to bad so dont worrie to much..
I still say that you can press the bolt from the other side and turn it out.
If you decide you want to say "**** it" I have a set of ex/si calipers that I'll sell for a good price

What if its fixable? Youre willing to just dump more cash?
Remove the bleeder screw and you should be able to pry the piston out a little. After that grab it with some vicegrips or something (with a rag so you dont damage it) and pull it straight out.
