so for a few weeks my 94 Ls sedan has had a noise when I would accelerate after being stoppped, not all the time but every now and then, the noise is like a rubbing sound, like when something isn't lubricated, and it sounds like its coming from the axle area, then I repleced both my front axles because the cv joints were done and I thoght this would have taken car of the problem but it didn't it actually in some instances made it sound louder and when I take her to my mechanic it doesn't do the noise so by me explaining it he really doesn't know but just told me to bring it back whenever I have time so he can do an inspection, so would any of you know what this could be, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

mine did this for a while, kind of like a real harsh rubbing. i was going to get it checked out but it eventually went away. how longs it been going on?

is it from both sides or one side of the car...

probably a reach here...but how about a caliper working improperly?

 

i'm not sure where its coming from but it sounds like the driver side

 

could be the pads draggin because they arent aligned good
