searched......fan is broken
So I know this has been covered a gazillion times before but ef-h search pulls up too much and h-t pulls up too little.
My fuse is fine for the fan (the 15 amp one under hood fuse box).
The fan wiring is connected firmly.
What is the next step to figurin this out. Something about a relay or fan switch near the distribuitor? I have a b16 (duh).
It only gets hot when I'm sitting idling for a good 10 minutes ( I was doing a nighttime photoshoot for class w/time exposures)
I have a stock sized all aluminum radiator w/stock fan. If the actual fan is bad, I'll just get a slim fan instead. I have not tested it yet, looking for all my possible places I will have to hunt.

have you tried running direct power to the fan yet? also pull the thermo switch in the back of the block, and follow the helm for a continuity test
When people talk about installing a manual override switch to turn the fan on at will and allow the stock fan operation, is this what part they are talking about?
