Default fitting d16y8 intake mani onto d17 ?

i read somewhere on 7thgen that a member somehow got a intake manifold from a d16y8 and made it fit onto his D17 motor, he said he noticed a gain in top end. so i'm just curious if anybody on here remembers how he did or can help me figure how to wire everything up

there was a picture on the site and yea the manifold is on his car. another member also had the venom manifold on his car with a 100 direct shot so there has to be a way to fit those onto our cars. just nobody has actually posted how to hook everthing up

i tried to contact the shop that did that but they would never respond...you can always try the description, but the d17 ecu is garbage, you'd need a stand-alone...
