First off, let me say that I hope that I am posting in the right forum here...I am running a 95 gsr with a 00 b18c5 swap with a chipped p72 ecu...chipped for 4600 vtec x-over, 8500 rev limit, stock c5 fuel curves and all of that. Next thing...I know the ticking is not the valves needing to be adjusted b/c they have already been adjusted to factory specs and the ticking is still there. The ticking noise that the motor is making sounds exactly like the ticking you would hear if the valves needed to be adjusted but like stated, there is no way its the valves. Could you guys give me any advice, pointers, or any ideas as to why the motor is still ticking? The ticking seems to go away under WOT but under daily driving conditions, the ticking is present. I was thinking about doing a video of the motor running or a sound clip to try and help you guys but I will have to see if I can work that out. Any help would be great! Thanks guys!

If it were to be the LMA's, is it hurting the motor to be driving it every day? I drive about 40-45 miles round trip to work and various places every day. Also, if it were to be the LMA's, how much of a pain in the *** would it be to replace them? Thanks!
Honda's always tick at idle.
I've never had my motor completely quiet even after just doing a valve adjustment. You could try adjusting the valves on the tighter side of the clearance specifications.
A sound clip would probably help, but unless it is just some insanely loud tick I wouldn't worry about it.

Get a screw driver and use it as a stetoscope and find out if its coming from under the valve cover or distributor or the injectors (which is my guess) My injectors are pretty loud and when you hold a screwdriver to them and place the handle to your ear you can clearly hear the ticking of the opening/closing from within the injector body

My R ticked a bit more than stock when I installed the Mugen N1 ECU. God knows why.
