ok to spray carb cleaner around eacv

hoses are stuck on there damn good... tried sticking a flathead in the hose heads... nothing... any ideas? if not can i just spray the carb cleaner right on the eacv without taking the whole unit out? any harm in that or to the units around it? tia

You'll be fine. Just make sure you either a) replace those o-rings or put a gasket marker on those o-rings to ensure that they seal up when you put it back. Just for future reference carb cleaner is usually fine for anything along the intake track.
hey thanks man... no additional o rings around or a gasket to put on for that matter... should be ok like that temporarily yah?

Use a pair or needlenose pliers and gently twist the hoses off, works much better than a screwdriver
