icu
ok so apparently i think my icu is going bad as my rear defrost intermittint(sp?) wipers and cruise all dont work can anyone tell me how i can test and\or replace it did search and didnt see anything on testing or how to any help would be greatly appreciatd thanks

integrated control unit. this is known to go bad on the DA's. symptoms are rear defroster stops working, and wiper relay will also stop working.
this is located behind the fuse box under the dash on your left side. you have to take the (2)12mm bolts that's holding the fusebox out to get to it. unplug the harness and pry it off carefully.

there is no way to check to see if it's bad. you already have the symptoms. just replace it
and yes you will get that annoying beep from the seatbelts when it is bad. trust me it happened to me and i replaced it and it was gone.

The seatbelt beeping can be stopped, but it will also disable your auto belts. Just make sure they are already in position to keep before you do this. Remove the kick panel on the passenger side and you will find a greyish metal box with a green plug going into it. Unplug it, beeping stops.
