It's time to get new tires and I'm stuck between getting the Falken Azenis and Kumho 712. I really want to get the Azenis in 215/45/16 but I'm worried that it is too wide and will rub on my car that is lowered one inch. By the way, my wheels have a +40mm offset. I know the Kumho in 205/45/16 will not be much of a problem. Just wanted to hear your opinions and views on my situation. Anyone here have the Falkens with a similar setup? Thanks.

+40mm on what? 6.5"? 7"? With only 1" drop, you shouldn't have any problems (since GSR sits higher to begin with anyway). Maybe on a full lock, you might rub, but those cases rarely happen.

 

My wheels are 16"X7" with a +40mm offset. Just wondering if I'll have problem with the Azenis. All the other posts relates to the 16" Azenis with the Spoon's with their +42mm offset. Small difference, but would the difference cause a problem?

 

Anyone else have this setup?
