Ok, just put it in... it is not all the way set up, I was just testing to see how it ran, oil lines, exhaust, wastegate set up. When i rev it up and the turbo spools it is ok... a little bit of smoke. When i let off the gas and the rpms drop it blows alot of smoke. Any ideas what that could be? do I have a crap turbo? Any thoughts?

 

you could have bad seals in your turbo.. that is just opinion

is there oil coming out of the turbin side?

Also, The oil return line is only about 4 inches beause the turbo sits so low. How do I get new seals? Any suggestions?

 

well if there is no oil comin out.. then your turbo seals are good
and my oil return is about 5 inch.. that doesn't really matter.
i am assuming that the smoke was coming out of the downpipe..

did your car smoke without the turbo on.. ??

 

Ok, no oil from the turbine side, but smoke from the exhaust side. I did not have smoke coming out before.
