new clutch, TO bearing cherp
me and my buddy put a new clutch in my 95 civic ex a week or 2 ago as well as the new bearings. since then i hear a cherp or a squeak near the tranny. my friend said that it might just be the bearing making noise and its ok and not going to hurt anything. just wanted to see if anyone has see this before.
The bearing in my kit was sealed and dident need oil, + I wouldennt recomend the oil I would use something like white lithium grease on all the contact points, aka where the fork meets the bearing, and where the fork meets the slave. Thats about all you can do with the tranny installed, I also put some on the input shaft where the bearing slides.
IT shouldent hurt anything tho, If thats your proplem, I would try to put some grease on the points I mentioned tho.....
