Cd Player Install.... Gone Wrong HELP
Hey guys
Another question, I just wired up my Verge MP3 player and it doesnt work
I bought the adapter harness from the stor and plugged it into the factory harness and made the connections from the new adapter harness to the cd player harness and it dont work.....
well it does turn on and say FM 12:00 but I cant do anything other than that and everytime I push a button, its turns off or fades and then comes back on or something, wont let me push in a cd but when I do it says some S-CD code
I figured my speaker polarities are defientely mixed up but I thought if I gave it the
Power/Accesory Power/Ground it should work...... and take in cd's right?
2 wires I didnt use in the new adapter harness are the Orange Illumination wire and the bluw/white power antenna wire
Any help is seriously apprecaited because I want to get this thing going or any other info you need Ill get asap

I would check and make sure that you have a good ground at the HUs plug, [black wire] and that you have good power at the HUs plug, [red-acc. and yellow-constant wires] if all that is good, then I would check that none of the speaker wires are shorting out to ground, a multimeter or DVM would help, but can be tested with testlight, or evan a 12V light bulb, if it all tests good, then you have a DOA HU
