not that hard at all, get a cherry picker or a few guys and put it in, it might have more clearance if you take out the spare tire

Rather then help the guy you're gonna sit there and criticize somebody else telling him to do a search? maybe you should do a search on this topic and see how many hits you get.

anyways,

lovinthecrx do a search in the EF/ED forum for GSR, GSR SWAP, B18C, B18C1, B18C SWAP and B18C1 SWAP and do a search for username slowpokesi who did a good write up on how to install a B16 which is pretty much the same thing. Also check out the following site:

mounts, shift linkage, wiring in vtec, and a cherry picker or a really tall jack. search around and youll find tons of info on this setup. mainly its the cost of the motor and mounts. and youd be better off keeping the cable tranny setup, pull a tranny out of a 90-93 itegra and youll be prety much set, or find a b16 tranny with the lsd.

"yeah it is a stock crx dx but not for long i need ideas i want to build my d-series"

what about this? you could do an easy d series build up for about 1300 if youve got a little bit of knowledge.

a6 head $30
cam (probably exospeed) $200
y8 intake manifold $80
pm7 pistons or p29's $140 w/ rings
valve springs and retainers $250
chip your ecu $50
use prelude injectors $30
gasket match and port match everything- nothing
b18 or h22 throttle body $50
I/H/E $500
(all aproximate prices wasnt sure on a few)

then again for that price you could do an hmt turbo kit.

The swap is pretty easy and straight forward once you get all the wiring done (dpfi-mpfi). If you definitely decide to go gsr, take it from me and buy yourself an aftermarket intake manifold and slap it on there before you put the motor in. I have the stock gsr mani in my ef hatch and there is like no way i can even put my air intake on because there is no room or clearance for it because all my fuel lines are in the way.
