Ok, the last owner of my car...was a ******* dumbass. He took a knife...cut through the two harnesses...and for some reason twisted them together with the caps. Now...im getting shorts everywhere and i know this is the main issue. My problem is that i dont know what harnesses i need to replace to fix this. Can someone help me?

 

I have an idea for you. sell that piece of **** and buy an EJ1 like mine. PROBLEM SOLVED EVERYONE !!!!!

Yeah, great advice buddy. to you for trying.

Do you have power windows/locks? Have you routed the wiring and tried splicing together the wiring that was cut? Have you tried stripping the entire harness that goes into the door and working from there?

 

its got power windows, mirrors and door locks...i tried hooking everything up and its just a horrible mess...wires are missing and wires are hanging all by themselves. I got discouraged trying to fix it and figured that just putting another good harness in would be better

 

Only way is the junker. Pull the entire harness out, plugs and all, and splice onto your original harness coming into the door.

 

theres a junk 94 lx sedan like mine in a junkyard not too far from here...do the harnesses plug together at the door somewhere? IF so...i would need the drivers door harness, and the entire dash harness...am i correct?
