well since the d17 motors are out, has anyone put a 1.7 crank into a 1.6 or even 1.5? i tried searching and didnt really find anything. i've got a d16z6 and was wanting to drop the 1.7 crank in at some point. has anyone done this or know any sites to try?
i've noticed the dipstick goes in different places between the d15/16 then the d17 in the newer civics so maybe something with the oil pumps would ahve to be done.
just looking for any helpful sights or any real knowledge on this. thanks in advance for any help

from what ive seen of the D17 crank i think they use a different size barrings and the carrages i think are a different size also, but i might be mistaken so im not quite sure if you could stroke the D16 with the D17 crank...
