Default Putting EX stuff on an HX...

OK, how much of an advantage would there be to putting an EX intake, throtle body, and injectors on an HX?? I know that the EX dosn't have an EGR valve, so does that mean that I would need to change the harness and computer, or could i get by with just changing the computer. Also, I am planning on getting a header for my car, so i know that I would have to get the exhaust off of an EX so that I will have a CAt and both O2 sensors, but do i really need to do this?? Casue if i have to fool with changing the computers, and messing with the harness, why not jsut go back to OBD I and run one O2 sensor. Being that I live in KY, I could also get by without the cat, but if I stay with OBDII, then I will get a CEL without the CAT. What do you guys think I should do?????

Thanks

I personally would convert to OBDI if there are no reprcussions with SMOG.

I never thought about changing the ECU out for the EGR valve.

The injectors are the same so if you can save money don't get them. Also, swap an ingetra throttle body insead of the EX.

Another thing to seriously consider is an EX tranny.

Yes, you need a 95 or older ECU.
http://www.sohfast.com has them.

Also look into getting a LSD. I know they are money but if you are planning on staying SOHC then they are worth it.

so, the one for the 92-95 si/ex it the one, right?? Also, about the egr vavle, i'm guess that the OBD I computer wouldn't control it right?? But if i do get the ex intake, then i have nothing to worry about...

And about the integra TB, it is a direct bolt one, right?? And what integra should i get one off of, the ls, or GSR??

BTW, thanks for all of the help...

Yup on the ECU.
No, the OBDI computer wouldn't control the EGR valve. And yes if you use the EX you don't have to worry about the EGR valve. If you go OBDI you are going to have to replace the distributor as well as some other things. I haven't bothered to do the research since I live in Cali.

The Teg throttle bodies bolt right on. I don't know the sizes and have been looking for about 10 mins. I have just found a rumor that the H22A throttle body will bolt up as well however, I dont' see the need for that big of one on a "stock" SOHC.
I would think an LS would be sufficient.
