in/ex manifold

in/ex manifold
I got two question which i can't seem to find.
1) 97 type R head.....can I use 94 ls non-vtec IN. and EX. manofold, are they the same bolt pattern. If i cant does that mean I will have to switch to OBD2 for the itr manifold. (I have a 90 integra, OBD0. Would these IN & EX manifolds work.
2) Which would you go for....brand new 97 itr head complete($1400can), or used b16b vtec head. (they guy want $1000 for the whole motor, which i will sell the block.) Thanks
