the same way the cam shaft rotates...
j/k... look at the engine belts.. i believe they go counter if you're looking from the driver side to passenger..
but if you take the cap off then i believe they go clockwise.. heheheheh

Just to help everyone who needs to know this. The rotor has a phillips screw that is tightened to hold it on to the distributor, which is spun by the cam. Therefore if you look at it straight on it will spin clockwise.
