distributor rotor rotation

any one know which way the distributor rotor rotates. is it clockwise or counterclockwise.

The same way as the engine. Looking at it straight on, clockwise.

the same way the cam shaft rotates...

j/k... look at the engine belts.. i believe they go counter if you're looking from the driver side to passenger..
but if you take the cap off then i believe they go clockwise.. heheheheh
i might be wrong...

Just to help everyone who needs to know this. The rotor has a phillips screw that is tightened to hold it on to the distributor, which is spun by the cam. Therefore if you look at it straight on it will spin clockwise.
