Default CRX Mini-Me track times

I took my car to the track this week and to my surprise I was able to beat a 98 GSR all night long. I ran a total of 6 times with my best being a 15.51 @ 89.7 mph with a reaction of .770 and 60ft of 2.13. Not bad for a mini-me. Here are some stats for you all:

88 CRX HF
D15B7 w/ y8 head
B16 throttle body
2000 EX header
PM6 ECU (stock chip)
APEXi VAFC
2000 EX clutch and flywheel
DX 5spd tranny

I did do a port match job on the head and intake manifold. Other than that every other aspect fo the car is stock Honda. I am going to run it again next week but on a different set of tires. I was using Falken Azenis which proved too much for the stock suspension (can you say wheel hop ). The GSR I raced had a Skunk 2 intake manifold (which I installed) short ram intake, DC 4-1 header and a Greddy EVO cat back. His best time was a 15.8. I was able to cut a better light which probably was the reason why I was beating him. He did however catch me at the end of the track, but a few 10ths of a second too late!

I am waiting for a Si tranny as we speak. I would love to get that thing before Wed. cause I am going to the track again. As for my 60ft times, well they sucked. I am going to be running on a different set of tires, so I may be able to better my time. I'll keep you guys posted on the times I run. Just for grins I went to the local San Antonio Friday night hang out and caught a few runs. I ran once, against a 90ish RX7. I beat him pretty good, and he was surprised my car was a single slammer.

Reaction time has nothing to do with your E/T.
