Default Can i make this block work as a daily driver??? lsvtec

I just recently bought a block for my car hopeing to do lsvtec swap. I don't want to go all out, just hoping to get like 180 whp and i will be happy. I plan on running a b16 head and maybe type R cams or aftermarket such as skunk 2. Im also lookin to get hondata for fuel management. Anyway the guy i bought the block from barely drove it then went to a b20 vtec. I want to use this as a daily driver on pump gas. So do you guys think it can work. Will the compression be to high? I also keep hearing that it needs to be sleeved. I just want a reliable setup thats more powerfull than the stock ls. I'm just having concerns and wondering if i should sell it or if i can make it work.

Anyway here are the specs.

B18a shortblock.
CTR .25mm oversized pistons.
shotpeened rods.
arp rod bolds
micorpolished crank.
new bearings.
new type R oil pump.
new seals and gaskets.
decked 10 thousandths

the person i bought it from ran it with
b16 head with crower cams, type R intake and 70mm throttle body. custom
header and a few hours on the dyno.
and made 205whp and ran a 12.8 at 105 in a gutted hatchback

yes it can be daily driven, use a very thick headgasket to reduce compression and tuning

on 91 you probably don't want to me over 11.5 and i don't think a .043" gasket will be enough

whats the thickest headgasket I can get? A .043" headgasket would put me at about 12.1 comp correct. Sorry I am such a noob.

You can daily drive on 12:1, if you have a competent tuner.

i believe the .043" gasket would put you around 12.5-12.9
there are thicker headgaskets available, i bought a cometic one for a buddy and i believe it was 0.054"

i know you can go thicker, cometic makes thick headgaskets so yeah stick with them, also remember you can't go to thick or you'll have sealing problems. contact cometic, they should be able to help you
