Default **** Oil Leak..SoCAL help

Anyone know a reputable shop Around ("the valley" .ie. North Hollywood, Van Nuys, Panorama City) i can bring my car too..I'm leaking oil and i have no idea why.. The person that use to fix car doesn't anymore.

Why not jack it up and take a look? You'd be suprised that it may be as simple as draining the oil and using a new oil pan drain bolt and washer. If you can locate the leak maybe you can do it yourself, might as well give it a try opposed to shelling out unnecessary dough at a shop.

Where's the oil coming from?

Common places are:

-oil pan
-cam seals
-crank seals
-valve cover
-distributor o-ring seal

I was leaking massive oil not to long ago from my cam seals, head gasket, and I also needed to replace the drain plug gasket(washer). So I went down to the local Kragen/Pepboys and got myself the **** I needed and did it myself. Drain plug is probably the easiest so start from there if ya want. DIY yourself dude don't pay mechanic jerks that overcharge for easy work. Pepboys/Kragen/Autozone=your bestfriend for DIY's.

yo man if its from ur oil pan gasket good luck dude i replaced my oil pan with new seal new oil pan and new bolts and man that thing still leaked. so its a dreaded honda oil leak which is common with most honda's especially 92-95 civic's so make sure u do it right and take ur time.
