Put it in the right side of your front windshield. It should slide down into the crack and have a firm fit. You might also want to get a rubber lining for it so it doesnt rattle or scratch your window.

the cops down here are gay.they gave me a warning for having it in the front window, said its a safety hazard. He told me that if you ever got in a wreck it could fly back and chop off your head(exaggerating).

Just put it where it goes and be done with it. You can get some bolts to replace the missing ones. Or you can go to the junk yard and pick up the plastic thing that is supposed to be on the back.

I forgot to get these myself when I got my new bumper. So I am using zip ties til I make a junk yard run.

in RE: to the the bend job...

be careful with that too.

technically, the plate is "state property" and they can get you for damage or whatever in regards to that as well.

personally, im flying sans front plate. i'll take the $65 fine...
i've yet to get one for it... and i've been pulled over without it on.

even if you do, 98% of the time, the cops here will just give you a written warning for it.

even if you do get a ticket for it in your window, put it where it belongs, go to a chp station and theyll write it off, then take it back of. thats only of course if you absolutely hate it and wouldnt mind going through that so you didnt have to have a front plate.

I leave it where it was meant to be, on the bumper, regardless if the state law needs it there or not.

i think you should just fix your problem correctly and put the plate where it belongs.

why give a cop a reason to pull you over?

i heard this also... personally i think you should be required to have a front plate... i will leave mine on even though i dont have to by law... sometimes thats the only chance an officer gets to run your plate... think if someone took off with your ride and got away with it because you didnt have a front plate so the officer couldnt run it and therefore just let them go

an officer being able to run your plates isn't always a good thing

well if youre doing nothing wrong you have nothing to worry about... id rather get a minor traffic ticket than have a thief get away because the cop had no way to find out the car is stolen

I have mine like the guy who bent it but its not bent. Its just on a foward lean. the bottom goes into the grill and the lip. The top doesnt fit all the way inside the grill so it leans foward. run some zipties through the holes and through your grill. Ill put pics up when i get my car back.... long story.
