Default 1990 Integra intermittent power loss, shutoff when driving, etc.

I have a 1990 Integra, automatic, 4 door LS.

Sometimes when trying to start the car, it won't even power up. None of the lights work like the interior light when the door opens, the door locks won't work, basically a complete loss of power. The battery is fine.

Most of the time it will start up, and starts up fine. I can drive forever, park it, and it will start right up. I can park it for a whole day, and it will start right up.

Sometimes I lose all power while driving also. It will just completely shuts off of me. The tach falls down to 0, the MPH gauge falls down to 0, in other words it loses all power, nothing works, I'm just cruising and have to wait for it to start up by itself which it usually does in about 10 seconds or so.

What could it be? I have fuel, spark, and power, it's just sometimes the power doesn't like to work.

I was thinking maybe the ignition thing behind where the key goes, i'm not sure.

replace it, if you take off the wheel and open the cover around the ignition you'll see the complete wiring harness...about $57 at the dealer...
