are cat's interchangable?
not all cats are interchangable. you have to pay attention to OBDI and OBDII because the cats are different...some have no O2 sensors, some have 2, some have 1. in terms of length and size (diameter), the usdm integra cats are the same.
just curious, why do you want to put a type r cat on your gsr? there won't be any improvement in exhaust flow...

I'm running a ITR cat on my 1998 GSR. ITR cat does flow better than the GSR one bacause it has a shorter piece of catalyst element, about half of the entire length. GSR has a full length catalyst element. Both cats are about 17" long.
