First off, lemme apologize for those of you who might say that this doesn't belong in this forum. It just doesn't seem like a Cosmetic/Appearance question to me.
Ok, previous owner of my car put a speaker box in the trunk, and with little regard for the rest of the car. Well, one of the problems caused is that the rear window has been shaken loose. So, I'm looking for ideas of what to use to reseal it. I want something very strong, because it has to put up with the weather here. Temperatures range from 0º (ice covered) in the winter to 110º (sun-baked) in the summer. Plus, I also plan on putting a speaker box in the back. Nothing big, just a couple of 8s. This is definitely not my area of expertise, but I've heard of resealing them with silicone. Please give me some ideas

If you want it to be 100% effective your best bet might be to bring it to a window shop.. have them remove it and put it back in... call see how much they would charge, might be pretty cheap and worth it to keep the rist of leaking down..
