relocation time... where do I put my washer fluid bottle??
My girl and I are just about done turboing her ef and I am lost when it comes to the washer fluid resevoir, the IC piping on the drivers side is now where the washer fluid resevoir used to be. I am not the most creative guy in the world, anybody have this problem before and solve it?
i am in the middle of the same setup, i squeezed 2.5" piping up there without a problem...the coolant overflow however..i'm prolly gonna move that to the other side near the battery.
I can't recall off the top of my head what size my piping is, but the way it's running now there is no room for the bottle at all, I don't have a camera to take pics though, the piping basically runs the same as the pass side, throught the hole and the piping now sits where the bottle used to, no room for both.

Yep, same here. Don't miss it either

I never took mine out...ran the piping from intercooler around the corner, under the bottle to the back of it, then straight up through the hole and up and over

well if your IC pipe is sitting that high anyway, you're gonna have to bring it down because you Intercooler inlet will be low anyway
. Unless you flip the IC upside down the inlet is not going to match up to the pipe the way you describe it, so it must be brought down anyway.

That's what I did.
I put the filter where the washer bottle went so I relocated that to the trashcan as well

I relocated my battery right behind my passenger seat (in a battery box), and installed the coolant overflow bottle in the spot where the battery used to be.
edit: never mind, I see you're talking about the washer bottle..

I wish I could throw out the bottle but I live in a city where that is not an option unfortunately... so I guess I am either going to have to find a smaller bottle or relocate the battery to the rear then move the bottle where the battery was. this sucks.
This is a crazy idea and
to you if you try it...but could you run the charge pipe through it? Use a hole saw and then seal it with silicone.

On the serious tip, it wouldn't be that hard to relocate or refab with a little ingenuity. The motor probably only has 2 or 3 wires going to it, and you could just extend the hose. How good are you with fiberglass

Are you sude you needed to run the IC pipes in that direction? I'm using a Starion IC and its a bit shorter than most IC's. In any case... in my EF I cut out sections in the body on either end of the radiator. I was able to run my IC pipes there without even getting near the resevior bottles etc. Additionally it let me run significantly shorter pipes.
