Default rim questions

i know that this has been asked before ... i'v got a 1997 civic coupe and i am wondering the widest tire i can run with 18's and what offset would put them right at the edge of my fender

285/75/18s. Seriously, if you know it's been asked before, search. What offset depends on wheel width, tire size, & sidewall design (i.e. square shoulders or rounded). Widest tire depends on wheel width & offset. etc. etc. etc. etc. Stick to a 205 or 215 at most (you're still likely to rub with 18s though)
