need help!! tire clearances..+35 mm offset details inside
I just ordered some 5Zigen 16x7 fn01rC with the standard +35 mm offset. I want to run 205-40-16 tires on them. Will i have plent of clearance on my 93 hatch?
I hope I would seeing that i once had 215-35-18's on a dumped civic backin the day.

Not to bust in on your post, but I'm a newb so I figured I'd give you a bump anyway.....but I was wondering what exactly the offset is? I realize the wheel is a 16in and is 7inches wide, but I was just curious what is meant by offset? Thanks!

Re: (SLATER97EX)
from my understanding it is the positive distance from the center of the wheel, thus if you want to run a wider tire you would need a positive offset to give you internal clearance of suspension parts, but ultimately putting you closer to the inside of your outer fender.
I would be guessing, but I dont think that the factory has a 0mm offset, but they tend to be milder 15-20mm
but im jumping from a 165mm wide tire to a 205 mm wide tire

I believe it is 7 days to lose the trail user thing, and 14 for IM and classifieds access but I could be wrong
