jg303 ls cams
i'm going to pick up some jg 303 cams for my ls and was wondering if i should put new pistons in first or juss slap it on...
oh yeah the cams are coming with a 96 ls head with crower valve springs and retainers
what kind powers would i expect from this set up?

Honda OEM rings are $110. You can give Honda a series of numbers on the block vs. the crankshaft and come up with the bearing colors. Same with the rods. You will have two to three diff. size main and rod bearing combinations for each motor. In other words you can not just go buy bearings. Bearings are about $11 per half at Honda.
Rods have bore size in number on the fat part of the rod. Match that with the letter of the Crank for that cylinder. That number-letter combo will tell you the color rods bearings you need.
The Letters are on the bottom of the block (hard to see where the oil pan gasket would be) Write down those letters in the same order and match them with the five numbers on the crankshaft. That letter-number combo will tell you the color mains you need.
