Default dumb newb question, but I don't know trannys so.............

With all the things I have done to my car I should know something like this but I don't, so be gentle. My question is can a D series tranny be mated to a B series engine and work properly?

d series stuff generally doesn't fit on b series stuff. and im pretty positive that goes extra for the trannys. so no it wont work.

You have to get a custom plate to make it fit. They cost.
