i just bought Tenzo r coilovers and KYB Gr2 shocks for my 98 civic and when i hit a bump the front shocks make a lound knocking noise. helpp!! thanks in advance.

 

only time i ever heard a knock come from a strut was when it was blown so im guessing yours is but i dont see why if its brand new

 

yah the have less than 500 miles on them and it is only at slow speeds

im not shure, but ive had the same problem when i installed my lowering springs, due to the fact that i forgot to put one of the rubber stopper thingys ....on the top of your strut tower...(open hood, check if strut moves around in the tower...if so, maybe u forgot to put one of those stoppers, or misplaced it on the inside of the spring, like i did lol....lots of newb mistakes ive made haha

 

yah nothing moves around at all im guessing it might be the coilover sleves moving around and hitting aginst the strut because the o rings wernt installed all to well, but i was just wondering if anybody had had the same problem or if anybody knew what it was and how to fix it.
