Re: oil pressure guage (TurboTagTeam)
yeah you can hook it up the sending unit above the oil filter or you can get a sandwich plate with ports already on it so you can tap your oil pressure there

Re: oil pressure guage (TurboTagTeam)
I hooked mine up to the back of the block, I used a British fitting ( that's what it calls for) and a 2' steel braided hose that goes to the sender unit located where my wiper motor is. Clean setup, requires a little drilling and cutting to make it fit under there but its worth it.

Re: oil pressure guage (00supercivic)
i guess what my question is, auto meter sends a oil sending unit with all there oil pressure guages, now the sending unit is supposed to go in the hole above the oil filter, and i was wondering how should i go about hookin up both the guage and hte light on the cluster. am i able to hook the light to the sending unit that came with the guage? or do i need to put a tee in the whole so i can hook up both?
thanks,
thanks,

you can have the sending unit intact by leaving it alone by hooking up the feed from your autometer to a sandwich plate or you can buy a T-fitting in which you can hook up the sending unit above the filter and the autometer feed, contact/PM tunertoys

OR...you could use the oil port in the head just below the distributor and obviate the need to **** with the stock sensor. There should be a plug in the port that you can remove with a hex wrench/ allen key.

First time I've heard about it too. Would make doing a turbo feed a whole lot easier. Any idea on the size of fitting it would need? Same as the one the oil sensor?

I've seen that plug and know what you are talking about, but is there a consistent supply of oil there? I've heard that it is bad to tap the oil from there.
I have seen a few people run their turbo feed from the head, but you would think that everyone would do it if it worked as well as using the stock oil pressure sensor location.
Any successful stories of using that plug as an oil feed source?
