question about bleeding clutch
hey guys, just finished bleeding the brakes (flushed out system with new fluid)..now for clutch...few questions
in helms it says to keep one end of tube on bleeder valve, the other in brake fluid...is this necessary or can i just bleed it like i bleed the brakes (push down pedal, release valve, close valve, release pedal)? reason i'm asking is that it's a pita to work around the slave cylinder with so little space..let me know guys thanks

you can do it the same way as brakes thats the way i do it . when you release the pedal it will stick to the floor just pill it up by hand and pump it 5-7 times and then hold down open valve , you know the rest . good luck
For both brakes and clutch, if you don't use a hose it's more likely you'll get air back into the slave/caliper. It doesn't always happen, but that's the reason.
Loop a piece of string under the clutch pedal to pull it back up. Have your foot on the pedal when you pull, so the pedal doesn't snap up quickly. That seems to suck air thru the MC piston seal (sometimes).
