Default NEED OPINIONS: What Rods to use?

SET-UP:

B18C5
Bored out to 84mm
Wiseco 84mm Pistons
AEBS Sleeves

Gonna be putting down between 600-700 whp.

What brand of rods do you guys have experiences with and what do you recommend? I have Eagle rods right now, but need to upgrade.

Which would you choose between:

CROWER?
CARILLO?
MANLEY?

Any other questions, feel free to ask.

Ask Stan (Flamenco-T) what he thinks of crower rods lol!

I would suggest Manley or Pauter.

I have heard that the Eagle rods have a tendency to spin bearings under high power.

The likelyhood of bearings spinning under big horsepower is prevelent with all rods.

Try your best not to start your sentence with "I heard" on HT. Thanks.

I know eagle rods are more likely to be the cause of problems at that power level than pauter and manley. Like that? lol And yes, bearing problems can be directly related to rod quality in many situations.

Right, my point exactly. If your hp = oranges, then don't put apples in the mix.
