Default jl audio w7 13.5

I recently bought a new sub the 13.5 jl w7.

I was wondering which amp could run this. I dont have any more funds for the jl 1000/1 which other sub could run it?

i have the kicker kx800.2, but didnt want to run that... i think its not enough poewr... jw..

i think that sub runs @ 3 ohms also... so yeah. good luck finding an amplifier that runs that sucker. if you do though, it will kick ***.

There are plenty of amps out there that will run at least about 1000Wrms at 3 Ohms. He's just going to have to drop about a grand either way unfortunately (to get *clean* power at least)...

If you wanted a cheaper alternative to the 1000/1 you could save a couple hundred bucks by buying a Memphis 1500D. At 3 Ohm it'll lay down at least 1100Wrms and at most decent dealers it'll run you about $200-300 cheaper than a 1000/1. Sounds damn good too, and they definately have a better warranty policy than JL has had recently.

***Note: Although I mentioned warranty policy, I actually still own and run a 1500D which I have had since 2002; still works perfectly...***
