Ummm... What did I do wrong; Vacuum in my HEAD!
So my buddies and I finally finished this motor build and had it professionally machined and built:
-b16
-CP 11:5:1 Pistons
-SuperTech Valves, Springs, Retainers (Stage 3)
-Skunk2 Cams Stage 2
After the break in (under 30 miles) we decided to get on it and when we hit Vtec HUGE clouds of smoke came out from the exhaust like we blew something up.
Its burning large amounts of oil and the plugs have oil on them.
Here is the catch; we did a compression test and got a solid 240 all the way across right on the money.
Back to my title-- With the car running, if we take the oil cap off it will SUCK (vacuum) from the head (It could litterally suck your finger into the valvetrain or give you a hickie if you put your palm over it). Same goes with the valve cover PCV breather.
We've been told that it could be the valve seals and it could also be improper machining with the retainers vs the lobes on the cams as well as possibly something with the PCV system...
WTF is going on?

possibly destroyed the valve guide seals on the intake side when you hit vtec. Did you have new guides put in? and were they reinstalled at the correct height? Good luck man
Actually we figured out the probelm. Talked to a friend who works at Honda and the PCV valve broke so it was sucking straight the crank case to the intake manifold. When pinched off the hose at runs fine. Now we just have to get a new PCV valve
Thanks anyway
