Adjusting Kickdown Cable on Auto Integras
It's the same method as adjusting the throttle cable.
Acura/Honda autos normally shift hard. It's how they're built, and its not a bad thing. Less slippage = less heat
If you adjust that cable, you're going to change your shift points. Tighten it, and you will go to higher RPM before shifting. It's pretty annoying to cruise at 3000RPM in third gear.

Do you ever look at your engine, son? You see where your throttle cable goes to the spring on the throttle body? Then there's another cable going from there to your trans. You adjust it at the bracket on the throttle body.
you can feel the shift a little more...most newer cars shift very smoothly and you can hardly notice it. some hondas, mainly with 4cyl motors, upshift with more abruptness. i've noticed that my DA shifts a little more harshly at lower rpms than at higher rpms. doesn't bother me at all.
Ill see if i can get your a picture of mine tommorow.

Nevermind, I found it. At first I put it all the way over so it was really tight and turned on the car and it was super loud(my n1 exhaust) so then I tuned it about 6 different times to get it where I wanted it. The shift point is higher than before and it seems to accelerate more faster as well.

theres claims that it will damage your transmission but not your engine. if you mess up your tranny, just get a manual one and do a conversion
