Default T-belt question hanging off alil bit

My t-belt is coming off the cam by a lil bit. Ill get a pictures up later this weekend. but is it okay for it to be like at the very edge of the cam gear (towards teh driver side)? What would it mean if the T-belt is more towards the Left side (driverside) -- does this mean the Tensior is too tight? or too loose?

You should be ok as long as it's not hanging over the side rubbing
against your valve cover. Mine hangs a little to the driver side as well.

Thanks for the prompt response. It's not touching anything, just that I converted the auto tensior over to manual and thought that maybe i tighten'ed it too much and that's why it's a little far to the left.

Quite a few people with the manual tensioner conversion are in the
same boat as you and I .

I left my upper timing belt cover off so I could always keep a close eye on it
