I am starting to hear this sound now and it usually comes when i push in the clutch. Starting from 1st gear, i let out the clutch then when i go to shift to 2nd, i push in the clutch and as soon as i push in, theres this creaking noise (sorta like shaking a loose plastic panel on your car kinda sound) for about a second. it happens when i push in the clutch from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th. Its usually when i give it halfthrottle then let off to decelerate then the sound comes back while the tranny shakes to decel. Can anyone tell me what this is?

sounds to me like your throw-out bearing, a five dollar part, that hurts your knuckles more than your pocket book. It is what actually engages and disengages your clutch. involves droping tranny. thats what it sounds like to me............any one else?
