I want to build a cowl induction hood for my DC2. My oem hood is pretty beet up in the middle so i was going to try to buy a mold in cowl and put it on my hood. JCWhittney used to sell these but apparently they dont anymore. anyyone know a good place to look for one, or has anyone tried this before?

 

yeah its do-able, your best bet would be to get a steel cowl and weld it in and then have someone do the bodywork and paint, you could use a fiberglass cowl and get it molded in, but its not going to last like a steel one would (id be afraid that it would separate from the steel stock hood or something and leave cracks). Summit has a wide variety of scoops and cowls, thats where id check first

 

i only found one on summit that even looked remotely like it would work. Any other ideas on where to go. Jegs didnt have ****.
