Default h.m.o is out of 98 spec itr motors, should i get 96-97 spec?

like topic says... what do you guys think i should do? worth waiting till mid june? or should i just order up the 96-97 itr motor? any real major differences? besides 4-1 header and 4.7 fd ...any imput would be great

depending on much cheaper it was for the 96-97 spec compared to the newer one would be the biggest factor. If the difference is minimal then just wait for them to get a new shipment of engines. But there are some things on the newer genration that are truly worth paying a little extra, like the final drive on the transmission and the like.
