which offset/tiresize are you guys using?
I am looking at the Rota C10's, 16x7, 5x114.3, which offset should I get? I am also looking at tires to go with them, thinking 205/50/16. This is with Eibach Sportlines and HP's on the car.
Appreciate any help with recommendations on which offset or tire size. Also wondering where the best prices are for the wheels.
Thanks

With a 7 inch wide wheel you should be able to go wider than a 205. Have you considered a 225? 225/50/16 gets you within .09% of stock overall diameter, and I think it would fit. I know it would on a '02, but I'm assuming from the 5 lug pattern you have an '04+?

I always forget which way this goes, is it the higher the offset the more the wheel is moving towards the car?
It looks like the c10's come in 40, 45, and 48 offsets, with the 205's or 225's and the Sportlines, which is going to make sure there is no rubbing?
Thanks

that's what I like to hear.
with 205 & 225's, you won't have any inner fender rubbing issues with a +40 offset or less. when you get into the +48 range, you risk rubbing on the inside.
+35-+40 is the optimum range IMO. It brings the tires right out to the edge of the fender and with a proper alignment you can ensure you won't rub on the outside fender.
see, you want it right out to the edge of the fender. Note the top of the wheel well and the fattest part of the tire. damn near perfect with -2.5 camber on 225/50/15's on a 15x7 +37 offset wheel.

I did have to trim the rear fender to run the camber setting I wanted though. I wanted -1 deg in the rear and it rubbed. with -1.5 or so I would have been okay as far as rubbing goes.
