well i wake up this morning to find that all of my audio equipment was stolen, 2 subwoofers, my headunit, amplifier and door speakers. On top of that the bastards dented my door. Man my car was so mint. I filed a report to the Fairfax County Police, which i doubt they will do anything about. about 500-600 dollars gone. the same thing happened to a couple of my friends, his rims were stolen, subs, and out of all things his books. **** thieves man. if any of you live in the NOVA area watch out because its summertime and these ***** are out to take your ****.

sorry to hear man...all you can do is move on and make sure you are prepared next time. get an alarm <U>first</U> and don't make it obvious that you have a system. not saying it is your fault at all, but just do what you can to move on and learn from it. good luck man

 

all i know is, if you have a honda, and you have a system, even with an alarm, it will be stolen.

 

Yeah, the Fairfax police are a ******* joke, as well as the magistrate. Sorry for your loss, but at least it wasn't your whole car. I think from now on, when the people are caught, those who were affected should hire a hitman, or off the **** suckers themselves. I would like nothing more than to walk out and see someone ******* with my car. I would beat them until their brains were dripping out their nose. Then again, I am an overly angry person.

 

Be thankful they didnt jack your car. Audio **** is easy to come by. Clean CRX's are not.

Just throw in a simple cd player with removable face, some nice 6.5's and call it a day.

 

sorry to hear about your story, but if you report it to the insurance they will give you money for all the stuff you lost. If you have full coverage and dont mind if your rates go up.

 

yeah man i reported it to my insurance company too. NEVER EVER HAD A DENT ON MY CAR!! the ****** theives went ahead and did that for me. i have an alarm but then again alarms are easy to bypass if you have a honda. so pissed man.. i can't even open the driver's side door because they broke that little clip that unlocks the door from the outside. I have to go to the passenger side, unlock that door, then unlock the driver door, walk around the car, then get in. this sucks, *******!

if i catch these fools, imma go bruce lee on their asses. Oh and on a side note same thing happened to my bros EM1...

Options:

get a better alarm
learn to enjoy 'engine/road noise' better (apexi exhaust can help )
buy a $400 pull shed and park in there, rig it with a 130db+ alarm.
move to Wisconsin...

Like said, be glad they were too dumb to size up the car's value. A clean rex shell with transplanted VIN plates can be valuable indeed up here.

Someone stole my faceplate on monday again!!! I've gone through 3 stereos in 1.5 years!!! I know what you are going through. I didn't want to make another thread tho... makes me even more mad.

You guys need to get more technical. We are moving to a new house in a smaller town, but more in the city. I am going to splice connectors into my civic and eclipse alarm. Then I will run wire under the ground in pvc pipe under the house and back into my room. Which will then be hooked up to another alarm in my room.

had an alarm? if you have subs with no alarm thats like asking to get ur **** stolen. lucky they didnt take the whole car.

what yall need is Viper/DEI XXXX 2 way models. i have adjustable 360* proximity sensor, mercury vile for any tilt movement sensor(towing), 2 hood sensors, backup battery. GPS tracking availble too but dont have it activated. shop that did it charged $400 installed they dont have my info on where i live and my car is registered/plated under business addy.

also anytime i have to go buy or pay stuff with ID is required, or signing up to things i show any 2 of my IDs 1 with business address and 1 with family address, i have a real 1 thats only for police. I find going to auto parts places they somehow need to see my ID when paying things when i just entered my pin for debit and its not only auto places. so if someone has a friend or family in the force and runs plate it wont come back with my address. and there is no way to follow me home without being seen. i wont even get into what protects it at home besides alarm.

all that being said be grateful your car wasn't taken and you either got sacked by crackheads, highschool kids or someone that knew of a system either friend, a girl running mouth(ex: johnny has a fly system and so loud and vibrates sounds 10x better than yours) or you crusin with it blasting around and they wanted whatever was in there. now go out and get a real alarm to deter real car theives a bit better.
