Default Quick transmission question

I have an 89 integra rs.

Will a tranny from a 90 integra bolt up to it?

I know the model changed that year that's why I'm curious.

TIA, Chris

I'm sorry I wasn't more specific, I'm looking for an automatic tranny.

I'm pretty sure the motor in the 89 teg is a d16a6.

the d16a1 in the Integra is not the same as the civic d-series. The Integra has a DOHC D16, while all of the d-series in the civics are SOHC. My recollection is that 86-89 Integra tranny will not be interchangeable with any b-series or other d-series motors. I did see on g1teg.org that Maxoutracer (who is also a member on here) has a 5 speed for sale for $150, so you should be able to find an auto for $200 or less in their classifieds or at the junkyard.

BTW - g1teg.org is a good place to go for info on the gen1, as you can see, we are pretty ignorant about 1st gens on HT.
