Somebody had a brand new set selling through HT I can't find to save my soul.
Any shops or stores or dealers online that has prices for this set with pics?
Id like to get all new black exterior plastic, and still have my arms and legs.

Short of buying brand new ones from Majestic Honda (see link above) for about $100+ per side, your best bet is to just freshen up the existing ones. I bought the passenger door piece for my '91 DX from Majestic for about $45, and it's brand new and looks great - but that's the only side trim piece on the car that looked faded. I didn't mind the price, but if I were doing all three pieces per side (the door piece and the little pieces just ahead and behind the door), it would get pretty pricey.
There are some good paints out there, including a black "plasti-dip" aerosol that looks like it should do the trick; it's a rubberized paint, so it should be able to withstand a few little door-ding-type hits without cracking. I've got a couple cans that I picked up at Home Depot; I'm planning on using them to repaint the metal trim around the front windows.
If you order new, just make sure to specify the '88-'89 year model; the trim pieces were thinner on the '90-'91s, and just wouldn't match up to the bumpers and any existing pieces you were keeping...

I got the long piece for the right and left door from http://www.slhondaparts.com
For the improvement it made, it was worth it.

Yup, San Leandro Honda is another good place to find new Honda parts. I like their site a bit better because (a) it's maintained better - the diagrams of the parts that come up are actually of the parts you're looking for! Majestic, for example, if I look up "rear brake", I get a diagram of the front suspension! and (b) SLHonda has the actual Honda part numbers listed, unlike Majestic, who just give you their internal part numbers.
for San Leandro Honda.
